ReadLimited

Struct ReadLimited

Source
pub struct ReadLimited<S> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Represents a stream reader that generates an error if the source stream exceeds a limit.

Note that some bytes over the limit may be read once if the source stream is buffered.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S> ReadLimited<S>

Source

pub fn new(source: S, limit: ByteLength, on_limit: fn() -> Error) -> Self

Construct a limited reader.

The on_limit closure is called for every read attempt after the limit is reached.

Source

pub fn new_default_err(source: S, limit: ByteLength) -> Self

New with default on limit error.

Trait Implementations§

impl<S> AsyncBufRead for ReadLimited<S>
where S: AsyncBufRead,

Source§

fn poll_fill_buf( self: Pin<&mut Self>, cx: &mut Context<'_>, ) -> Poll<Result<&[u8]>>

Attempt to return the contents of the internal buffer, filling it with more data from the inner reader if it is empty. Read more
Source§

fn consume(self: Pin<&mut Self>, amt: usize)

Tells this buffer that amt bytes have been consumed from the buffer, so they should no longer be returned in calls to poll_read. Read more
